Motley Crue were awesome
and its awesome that they are finally reuniting
with the original Lineup
Some of my favorite Crue songs would have to be:
Without You, Dr. Feelgood, Shout At The Devil, Home Sweet Home, Kickstart My Heart
Motley was probably my favorite 80’s band!!
-Morgan Hadley, PA
My favorite Crue song would have to be Piece of Your Action . The last time I seen Motley Crue with all original members was back in 87 on the Girls, Girls, Girls tour. They ROCKED!! Can’t wait to see them again!!!! 😆 – said wildchild on Feb 02, 2005
I caught their pre-tour free show at the Hollywood Paladium recently and it was like a step back in time to the ol Hair Band days. I loved avery minute of it and even got to meet them after the show. A great bunch of guys! Rick – said Lordcruiser on Feb 02, 2005
My favorite Crue song is Live Wire. The raw sound really captured that era. The last time I saw the Crue was on the Dr. Feelgood tour. I was able to see the show both times it came through town. Tommy Lee’s drum solo over the crowd was awesome! I can’t wait to see them again! – said BPMill5150 on Feb 02, 2005
Motley has been my fav. band since I was 8 -9 yrs old.. I saw them on their New Tatoo tour a few yrs back, they still kicked a** can’t wait to see them again!! – said zorra1 on Feb 02, 2005
Really it would have to be anything from Dr. Feelgood. I remember playing that album so much, especially Kick Start My Heart, S.O.S., Without You, and the title track, I had to buy a new album a year later. I still think Without You is the best ballad of all time. – said britpopguru on Feb 02, 2005
I represent a True to the Crue family. My two kids love the Crue as well. I’m constantly bombarded for requests for Shout at the Devil everytime we get in the car!!! My mother has also become quite the Crue fanatic and has already told me that I ll have to find another babysitter for the Houston date on this tour because her and my father are going to be riding their Harley’s to the show!!! 🙄 I’ve seen Motley Crue a number of times since the 97 Generation Swine tour. My favorite concert was probably the New Tattoo tour when they played at the Woodlands Pavillion in Houston. That was the first Crue concert I got to watch from the PIT. The band sounded great (they were also SMOKIN HOT), they played all the fan favorites and a couple from the new album. I snuck my camera into the venue and snapped photos from the beginning to the end. We were on Nikki’s side of the stage and he saw me snapping pictures and started posing for me!!! It was the best concert ever. Now, I have a copy of that show on DVD thanks to a good friend of mine that was there at the same show. I have to say that I don’t have just one favorite Crue song as there are too many to choose from. A few of my favorites are: Primal Scream, Teaser, 10 Seconds to Love and Live Wire. I can’t wait to catch up with the boys on this tour. We are planning on going to see them in San Antonio on April 15 and then again in Houston (whenever that date may be). Rock on, Dalyn – said miss crue on Feb 02, 2005

I first saw the Crue with Ratt at a movie theatre in the early 80’s then I saw them at the US festival in 82. Since then I have seen them with every differnt lineup they had but it was never as good sounding or live. Its good to see them back together. Keep rockin with S.I.N. – said jmcconnell on Feb 02, 2005
Kickstart My Heart is my favorite by the band, it was totally unexpected of them to totally go all balls out and write a… .well, pretty much… .a speed metal song and make it a hit… .as well as a staple in thier set and and sporting events worldwide! – said Joshua V. on Feb 02, 2005
can’t wait to see them, totally excited!!!!!!!!! joanna – said trixie on Feb 02, 2005
My favorite is Primal Scream. – said inkslinger on Feb 02, 2005
I’ve been a fan since 82 when I heard a friends copy of TFFL on the Leathur Records label. I’ve since tried to buy the vinyl copy from him but he has no interest in selling. I’ve seen them several times, the first was opening for Ozzy on March 14, 1984 in Tucson, AZ. I missed the Theater of Pain tour but have seen many shows since. I guess the Dr Feelgood tour was probably my favorite. I think the first of two shows I saw then was the second date on the tour, again in Tucson, AZ. About a year or so later I saw them again at the end of the tour. They played an outdoor gig at Compton Terrace just south of Phoenix and Lita Ford and Faster Pussycat opened. I stood leaning on the chainlink fence surrounding the lighting scaffold and mixing board, Rikki Rachtman was about 7 feet from where I was. That show was monster… FPC was supporting Wake Me When Its Over and the Crue were ending the Feelgood run. All the bands had a killer set and a great time. I’d say my favorite song is On With the Show . I’m a big fan of 50’s style balladeering/tragic storytelling songs, and OWTS is a stellar example of that style. AND it was on their debut record. These guy’s are an American treasure. – said HanoiRoxx on Feb 02, 2005
my favorite song is primal scream just love the music. on all concerts of the crue are all great. my favorite concerts would be when i took my son to see them. something i will always remember. i am a big crue fan, and now he is too. thanks to the crue for all the great shows! – said cm488 on Feb 02, 2005
Motley was my first concert, it was Theatre of Pain tour, man seeing Tommy on the drums was so inspiring ( since im a drummer) and his drum solo was kick ass ❗ These our a couple of my favs. [b:7a3b2678f8]Live Wire Piece of Your Action Shout at the Devil Too Young to Fall in Love Louder Than Hell Wild Side All in the Name of… Dr. Feelgood Kickstart My Heart[/b:7a3b2678f8] – said PAUZED on Feb 02, 2005

I miss you guys… .and no other radio station can hold a candle to the metal you guys play! Thrashed, DarkMuse – said DarkMuse on Feb 02, 2005
Whoa… favorite Crue song… gotta be Live Wire. I’ve seen these guys every tour with the exception of the Corabi tour… even got to meet Vince and Nikki a couple of years ago on the Megadeth/Anthrax tour. It’s always great to see what Tommy has up his sleeve for the solo. I remember seeing them the first time he did the spinning cage and saying how the he%% is anyone ever gonna top THAT… , which Tommy did the very next year. – said dallasGman on Feb 02, 2005
Before there was the Crue, Nikki worked with my brother at Turner’s Liquor Store on Sunset Blvd, where he delivered booze to the stars homes in Beverly Hills. Nikki was already working on the look of a new kind of rock star and my brother thought he looked strange for the times. Nikki put an ad in the recycler looking for a guitarist with a look being as important as skill and Mick was the perfect fit. Never in a million years did my brother think he was witnessing the birth of a revolutionary image and style in rock. To this day my youngest brother, who is the ultimate crue fan, can’t believe my brother never kept in touch with Nikki as they went on to gain rock n roll immortality. If he only knew then what he knows now. One song it too hard to pick, but I ll have to go with Kick Start My Heart. – said prizm52 on Feb 02, 2005
EWWWW-RED HOT!RED HOT!OW-WHOA TO THE TOP WE ARE RED HOT,CANT YOU SEE WERE OUT FOR BLOOD?TOO FAST FOR LOVE AND SHOUT AT THE DEVIL RULE KIDS – said zrawk on Feb 02, 2005
My favorite crue tune is Looks That Kill. When I was 10, myself and three friends dressed up as the Crue and even carried a tape recorder in our pillow case, blasing the Shout at the Devil tape. An old lady even the slammed the door in our faces, probably cause Bastard was cranked to 10!!! The Crue rules… and for any Crue fans out there who haven’t read The Dirt, pick up a copy. Best rock n roll book ever. – said notoriusbug on Feb 02, 2005
the crue ruled back when wasp and twisted sister roamed the metal lands, and wore the greatest heels, look at those boots on too fast for love!!classic, hold that album next to bon jovi’s self titled debut and we could ignite our own little east coast west coast rivalry, crue would kick those ladie’s asses – said zrawk on Feb 02, 2005
My favorite Crue memory comes from the Dr. Feelgood tour at the Houston Summit. We had really bad seats, upper deck and toward the back. But at least we were in the front row. When we saw Tommy Lee’s drum kit rise off the floor and to our eye level, we all went nuts. Then when it moved from the front of the house to practically right in front of us… … … WOW!!! We went INSANE!!!!! I lost an earring… Good times!! As for a favorite Crue songs: Home Sweet Home, Kickstart, Wildside and Livewire. – said GirlFriday on Feb 02, 2005
The year was 1985, the band of course, [u:ac3044fbe7][b:ac3044fbe7]Motley Crue[/b:ac3044fbe7][/u:ac3044fbe7], the city of Seattle was uncharacteristically buried in ice and snow. 😯 I lived 100 miles north of Seattle. My best friend, who I met initially because we were both wearing the same long sleeve Motley Crue shirt with the flaming sleeves and the Shout and the Devil album cover on the front, were both advised by EVERYONE that it was far too icy on the roads to go to the show. The local radio stations reported the they were sure the Crue would cancel the show. 👿 We didn’t believe it for a second. We piled into a third friend’s red 62 Chevy Nova that did NOT have a defroster and used a screwdriver to shift and a butter knife to open the trunk. 😯 We drove down I5 on ice that must have been 8 inches thick. We used the ruts in the road to guide us, as the pavement was imposible to see. 😕 We had to use our hands to continually defrost the windshield enough to see and it was quite the adventure but we made it all the way south of Seattle to Tacoma (another 30 miles) to the Tacoma Dome where Motley Crue had [b:ac3044fbe7]Gone on with the Show[/b:ac3044fbe7] 😉 Clearly nobody else believed that the Crue would cancel the show, because it was packed. The babes didn’t even let the freezing weather stop them from dressing in bikinis and lingerie. 😀 Once inside, things started to warm up. We saw opening act [b:ac3044fbe7]Autograph[/b:ac3044fbe7] (they were big at the time) then another band we loved, [b:ac3044fbe7]Y&T[/b:ac3044fbe7] totally rock and finally, what we’d made the trip for… ..[b:ac3044fbe7]MOTLEY CRUE![/b:ac3044fbe7] They blasted onto the stage with fury and intensity and absolutely PUMMELLED us with song after song! I think they played almost every song from all 3 albums they had released at the time. We loved it all but my all time favorite, then as it is now… .was [b:ac3044fbe7]LIVEWIRE![/b:ac3044fbe7] and that’s exactly what they were. A livewire that sparked the Tacoma Dome and left an imprint on us forever! 8) To this day, those 2 friends and I still talk about that show. – said J-Blue on Feb 02, 2005
My all time favorite tune by the crue is RED HOT although a close second may be SINNER – said JoeShmoe on Feb 02, 2005
I remember seeing Motley back in 89 with the Dr. Feelgood tour.It totally blew me away.Seeing Tommy play his drums from a platform above the audience was cool.At the end of the show a guitar was smashed on stage and parts were handed to the fans.Hope to catch them on tour soon. – said Nitehawk777 on Feb 02, 2005
