Queensryche wrapped up the Operation Mindcrime II Tour with a two night stand at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on December 1-2, 2006.
Showcasing the 1988 masterpiece Operation : Mindcrime and the 2006 sequel Operation : Mindcrime II in their entirety, Geoff Tate and company took fans on a three hour journey of rock, revenge, and redemption. Joined onstage by a cast of characters, including Pamela Moore as Sister Mary, Queensryche presented a multi-dimensional experience of all that is Mindcrime, including the answer to Who Killed Mary?
After performing both albums back to back, the band returned for a 2 song encore. After launching a searing Empire, Geoff Tate took a moment to thank fans everywhere for their support during this year’s tour. As this was the final night of the tour, he said the band would be heading for home the next day and ended it all with a song about going home: Jet City Woman.
… Waited so long now the planes delayed
And hour, reminds me of all our days apart.
Hold on, just a little longer…

where do they get 3 hours from? both mindcrimes are an hour each and the last 2 songs are about 5-6 minutes each-that’s not even 2 and a half hours – said fonzbear2000 on Dec 12, 2006
where do they get 3 hours from? both mindcrimes are an hour each and the last 2 songs are about 5-6 minutes each-that’s not even 2 and a half hours They take a 15 to 20 minute intermission between the Mindcrime 1 and Mindcrime 2 sets. – said archie on Dec 12, 2006
we were at the house of blues for just a short 3 hours, when QR puts on the show they put on the show, the cd math is right, but extended/altered music and kick ass in betweens drew it out, not to mention the real QR encore with tune from Empire to put icing on the cake. When in doubt about the show, five little words sum it up… YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. I made a 3000 mile trip and don’t regret it one bit. I am a Queensryche fan. – said gmrodman on Dec 12, 2006
